Inspired by the message of his Excellency Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, the former president of India on his visit to Vijayawada in October, 1996 about the need to expand Cancer treatment facilities and having felt the need for a good Cancer Center in this part of the Country, a few public spirited persons from various walks of life came forward and established “SIBAR CHARITABLE TRUST”, (Cancer Treatment and Research Center) as a public Charitable Trust, registered on 06.12.1996.
