In the recent times cancer disease has been prevalent round the world; particularly in India, and third world countries where scores of people die of cancer. The miserable situation is that majority of them do not know that it is cancer that kills as they are not aware of the symptoms of this cruel disease. People lack that basic education to detect the disease, let alone preventing or curing it. By the time the doctors detect it to be cancer it would be in advanced stage. Even the rich are succumbed to death not to speak of the poor.
In the state of Andhra Pradesh particularly in the coastal districts there are not many cancer centres to treat the disease. At this crucial moment a crusade is launched by the Sibar Charitable Trust to wage a war against the cancer to save the mankind particularly those who are below the poverty line. The rich and the educated have voluntarily joined the organisation to reduce the suffering of mankind. In consequence of this there emerged a Charitable Trust “Sibar” with the following main objectives.
objectives of the trust are:
To establish a Cancer Hospital for early detection and treatment of cancer.
To promote and develop the scientific research for cancer prevention and cure.
To encourage, aid and assist cancer prevention and treatment programmers.
To provide relief in all possible ways to the poor and economically under privileged sections of the society.
To conduct educational and awareness camps for the general public especially to the rural poor and urban slums.
The aims and objectives of the trust are so much service oriented that the State as well as the Central Governments have come to help the organisation financially and otherwise.
