Clinical Laboratory

        A fully equipped clinical laboratory has been set up to provide routine laboratory tests for the inpatients and out patients. Laboratory tests: Blood group, blood sugar, urea, creatinine, bilrubin, total proteins, platelet count, M.P., E.S.R., TC, DC, HB, HIV I & II, HBS Ag, VDRL, Urine analysis, pregnancy and bleeding factor analysis were done at considerably cheaper rates. About 600 tests are being done per month.

Modern Research Laboratory

         The objective in establishing this laboratory is to provide patient care and research facilities. A comprehensive and well-equipped laboratory is being established with all modern facilities. This laboratory will be provided with facilities capable of doing Immuno - histochemistry including frozen sections, Enzyme-immunoassays and essays for cancer markers. Besides diagnosis and confirmatory tests, tests to monitor patient’s progress will also be done at this facility, at a minimal cost to the patient. The facility is being established with complete compliance to the state and federal regulations with strict quality controls.



                 The equipment includes good microscopic facilities with all accessories for Video/Photomicrography and Image analysis and Automated essay systems for ELISA, Plate reader with computer analysis of the results. FACS-cell sorter is being procured to complement the other equipment for more advanced tests. Tests for diagnosis and monitoring of patient progress for Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer and others are being setup. Immuno-histochemistry and Enzyme-immunoassays with quality assurance for different cancer markers are being established. Cancer markers; CEA, SCC, Alpha-Feto Protein, CA.125, CA15-3, ER19-9, PgR, Ps2, HER-2/New, EGFR, P53, CA-19-9 and others will be identified through the above assay systems.
